Pickling
Etching and Pickling is the removal of oxidic deposits from metal surface. The aim of this process step is to create an pure surface. Pickling is usually carried out in the acidic range, but pickling is also possible in alkaline process, e.g. for aluminium. By adding a degreasing booster, e.g. Pretreat 5150, cleaning and pickling can be done in one step.
Pretac 2100
Acidic pickling product to achieve uniform, high pickling removal on aluminum and galvanized steel over the entire service life.
Suitable as a pickle degreaser in combination with a suitable degreasing booster for spray and dip process.
Contains no hydrofluoric acid – non-toxic.
Pretac 2110
Acidic pickling product to achieve uniform, high pickling removal on aluminum and galvanized steel over the entire service life.
Particularly suitable for achieving stain removal > 1g/m² in a short treatment time. Suitable as a pickle degreaser in combination with a suitable degreasing booster for spray and dip process.

Pretac 2120
Acidic pickling product to achieve uniform, high pickling removal on aluminum and galvanized steel over the entire service life.
High pickling abrasions are already achieved from temperatures of 20 °C. Suitable as a pickle degreaser in combination with a suitable degreasing booster for spray and dip process.

Pretac 2156
acid pickling product for aluminum, fluoride free. Achieve even removal over the entire service life.
Suitable for spray and dip process.
Pretac 2230
Acid pickling product for removing rust, scale, tarnish marks, etc. on steel components, achieves a very high level of pickling removal, which means that glazing can also be removed.
Due to the ingredients contained, high iron levels are possible.
Prelitin 1430
Alcaline pickling solution for aluminium, achieves over the entire service life of the bath an high etch rate.
